Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) CID September 2025 Sanitation Update Summary

SSC September 2025 CID Sanitation Summary
In the month of September 2025, the CIDBIA's sanitation contractors, Seattle Surface Cleaners, have removed:
8,382 pounds of garbage,
1640 pieces of recycling,
832 biohazards (human and pet waste),
251 pieces of sharps/needles,
243 overflow public litter cans & dumpster,
202 bulky in the public right of way,
159 instances of broken glass,

In the month of September 2025, the CIDBIA's sanitation contractors, Seattle Surface Cleaners, removed 3,013 sq.ft. of graffiti tags on businesses & properties in the public right-of-way throughout the Chinatown-International District (CID).
