Centered in the heart of Seattle’s historic Chinatown-International District, our festivals attracts thousands of people and features an eclectic line-up of cultural performances with everything from the spirited Chinese lion and dragon dances, to captivating martial arts demonstrations and Japanese Taiko drumming. Bounded by the iconic Chinatown Gate and beautiful Hing Hay Park, our festivals bring the streets to life with historic walking tours, a large-scale outdoor Asian market and cultural activities for people of all ages. In addition, these events offer a boost to the local C-ID economy, where we support more than 400 small businesses, including 125+ restaurants within the district.
The Chinatown-International District Business Improvement Area (CIDBIA) is a non-profit organization tasked to improve, promote, and advocate for Seattle’s Chinatown-International District. Events are critical fundraising opportunities for CIDBIA. All funds generated through event sponsorships are placed right back into our sanitation, public safety, and marketing programs to create a clean, safe, and welcoming community. This cannot be done without the generosity of our sponsors.
